Im quite cynical about church and usually avoid it, but I do find myself going. Its not weird and you dont feel self conscious...you also dont have to deal feel pressure to dress up. Just be yourself

The first time I attended SOMA, 2 1/2 years ago, I was welcomed with such warm and genuine hospitality; it was incredible to feel that kind genuineness in a church. The pastors are incredible; they are kind, concerned, and loving, but they are also unashamedly honest, which is wonderful! They mix in some fun into sermons when its appropriate. Its truly a wonderful church.
