1 /5 Crystal Myers: Veronica is a very nice person, but I would NOT recommend her for a balayage. The hair treatment she gave me not only looked nothing like the picture I gave her, but it was also very poorly executed. The application style was extremely chunky, uneven, and even worse had "leopard spots" in several areas. The top looked like tiger stripes. When I went to another salon to have it fixed, they said there were areas that were left on too long and others not enough. As you look at the deeper layers of my hair, you can see the bleach was applied in random diagonal lines. Definitely not the quality you expect from any stylist let alone an experienced one. The other salon was able to fix the high stripes but because of the random application of the bleach they had to return it all pretty much to brown and start over. I have to wait 6-8 weeks for my hair to heal before the other salon can give me a new blond balayage. I am getting engaged in a few weeks, which is why I wanted my hair done in the first place, and now I will not have my hair done for day of my engagement. Although she gave me a PARTIAL refund, it did not cover the repair costs and definitely is not going to cover the second good salon visit for a proper balayage. Even if she did give it all back, the additional repairs are going to cost me over $150 more than what I would have paid if it was done right the first time. Again super nice women, but I would NOT recommend her for any hair treatment.

1 /5 Piper Cornett: Had a friend come home sobbing just now after getting dropped off in the Solutions Salon parking lot. What was supposed to be a quick and easy drop off turn into an uncomfortable and awful experience. The owner or employee that worked in Solutions Salon marched out and yelled at my friend even after she said she was gathering her things so she could leave. The woman said that they needed to leave immediately and continued until she was off property. My friend is a kind and caring individual, unlike the woman that worked at Solutions, who wouldn’t cause issues or say mean things just because of a parking spot that was in an almost empty parking lot. I get that parking in San Marcos is scarce, but being mean to college students about one is just sad. We did not receive services from this salon but just wanted to let people know how their employees treat people.

5 /5 Makayla: Today was my first time with Maya and she was absolutely fabulous. I dont trust easily, especially with my hair, but I trusted her ability in what she was doing and that she knew her stuff. She was so friendly and funny. Definitely recommend.

5 /5 Cathey Holaway: I went to Maya. Had a wonderful experience. Got my hair cut a little shorter. I love it. Went back a second time. She did it in curls. Am going back today for. A Bob. She is great. She is From Ukran and is a real sweetheart. Found a great place in San Marcos.!!!!!!

Every step of the way she would explain to be what she was doing to my hair and gave me more knowledge of how the whole process should be. Ladies this woman knows her stuff!
