Even though we don’t speak Spanish, the ladies were incredibly sweet and patient, and two of them even translated for us to make sure we had a great experience. We came in close to closing, but they still worked us in without any rush or hesitation. The lady who did my pedicure was so detailed, and honestly, it’s probably the best paint job I’ve ever had on my toes! My husband and I are Winter Texans and spend two months in the area every year—this will definitely be our go-to nail salon from now on. Highly recommend!

1 /5 Mardelle Saldana: I fell in love with this place and made it my go to any time I’m in town. This past Monday I went in for a pedicure and dip nails. I paid $100 ( a little more than usual but I didn’t mind). The lady who did my nails was literally on the phone THE WHOLE TIME! 2 days later 3 of my nails started chipping. Mind you I’ve been getting dip for about 2 years now and every time it lasts me about a month. How can I go back to get them fixed when I live so far away. Lesson learned and will definitely not be going back.

1 /5 Asiah Phillips: This place has no sense of urgency. They look at you like you’re inconveniencing them by coming in to pay money to get your nails done. The nail tech struggled with a basic acrylic overlay and a shellac pedi. I spent over $100 and my shellac chipped the next day. When I came to get them fixed they rolled their eyes and just sat around. I’m from Houston and the customer service comparatively is TRASH. Do not go here! After 10 minutes of watching three of them chat and sit around, they decided they could fix my nail. Never again.

5 /5 Martin Olguin: I have to hand it to them (hehehe), I wouldnt go anywhere else. Rosa is an amazing nail technician. She pays attention to details. My hands and feet always look and feel great after my visits to Solar Nails.

natalie jimenez: I went on 1/24 to get a mani and pedi with shellac and these are the results after not even a week! The shellac started peeling the day after but I’m not one to complain so I brush it off and now 1/30 almost every nail is peeling. I do not work im a stay at home mom so it’s not like I do hard labor so there’s no reason why it should be peeling unless the shellac is cheap. I paid $50 for this manicure which is not cheap. I called and they said there’s nothing they can do , I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning. I should’ve stayed with my regular nail tech who only charges me $30 and my shellac stays for over a month but I was impatient and booked here.

Grace Rodriguez: Super rude! Went in 1/4, the desk in seat number 5 attended me but when I asked him to cut my nails he said he wouldn’t and seems annoyed to my request. I was getting acrylics and it seems he was just lazy to do the job. I had been waiting for 25 minutes right when they opened. Since the beginning that he stepped into the shop, he seemed upset. After refusing to cut my nails he sent me to sit on #3. This second person fixed my nail length before applying the acrylics. After seat #5 refused to help me and sent me to another seat, he started yelling in their language to the other workers. He was obviously talking about me with much anger. I asked him to please tell me what he was saying as he was being so disrespectful infront of other customers. At the end they refused to give me his name. Horrible service. Do not go with him!

I gave it a try and got a manicure shellac done and this is after one week! I have never had shellac fall off this easily. Update: went back to get them redone and they ask me if I want a change in color so me thinking okay they are redoing them for free might well change the color it could have been possible that the last color polish was bad well at the end they end up charging me because I chose a different color when they never mentioned if I chose a different color I was going to get charge. Never going back

Shannyn Garcia: I have to leave a one star review because of ONE person there. I went in sometime last week and they were pretty busy. The owner kindly and politely told me there would be about a 20 min wait. Totally fine with me. She told me to write my name down and the services I needed. (Gel polish change color on toes and fingers). When the nail tech, AMERICA, came up to me she asked what I needed. I told her. She got visibly annoyed that I needed my hands and toes done. Once she started working on my toes, she was drilling WAY TOO HARD and I continued to pull my foot back because she was hurting and burning my toe. Once she was done, she asked what color I wanted and I said red. She got the color and IMMEDIATELY started painting my nails. She didn’t cut, file, CLEAN, shape or ANYTHING on my toe nails. IMMEDIATELY started painting. She didn’t even ask if the red SHE chose was ok with me or gave me the options they have. Anyway, I stopped her and said “I’m sorry. Aren’t you supposed to clean the nails before and also start with a base coat? Also, I would like my nails cut, filed and shaped. AGAIN she got visibly annoyed of that. She still did not clean my nails so there’s left over dust from the drilling and she started to put the base coat. Every time she would put the light over my nails to cure it, she kept hitting my toes and the polish would mess up. Ultimately more work for her. She clearly did not care to do my nails for whatever reason. As soon as she was done, she started working on someone else. I understand that they were busy. But if she were THAT busy, she could’ve easily declined on doing my nails. I would have fathered that then the service and attitude I received. The salon itself is great, in my opinion. But I won’t allow America to do my nails again if I decide to return.
