03-2025 Skye Salon & Spa in The Best 19 Hair Salon in Beaumont, Jefferson Country On Stage Hair Design - Beaumont Shama Ali: This was my first time visiting this salon, and I booked an appointment with an Artistic Director for balayage. After the initial color treatment, the results were barely noticeable, so I rescheduled another appointment for the following day to have it fixed. During the second attempt, the color on the back turned out well, but the front remained too dark with an orange-red tint. I only realized this when I stepped outside into natural light. My hair color looked uneven, so I went back to the salon to discuss the issue with the colorist.
The colorist seemed unsure about how to correct it and kept asking other stylists for advice. Time was limited for her. She had other clients coming in for their appointments even then she tried to fix it by reapplying the bleach to my front hair again for the third time, but I stopped her because I didnt want to damage my hair so I suggested that she reapply toner instead, hoping it would reduce the brassy tones. I mentioned to her that a similar situation had been fixed with toner in the past.
After she reapplied the toner, I was so exhausted that I left the salon without drying my hair. When I got home and checked my hair, it looked terrible. Im really upset and feel like crying. The colorist was a nice lady she tried her best, but I wish I had gone to a professional who knows how to color dark hair and who has advanced color correction skills. Now Ill have to go to another Salon and spend more money to get it fixed.

I was hoping and praying that we would get someone kind and patient. Miss Iris was the sweetest and we really appreciate the patience she had with him. Enstyle Salon - Beaumont Tonya Miller: Great experience. Taking mom to hospital and she wanted her hair done. Anything that makes her feel better is important. Tressy took her without an appointment. She was patient with my mom and a true sweetheart.
Yaozmaras Beauty Salon - Beaumont Nayeli Sanchez: Have been going to this beauty salon for more than 5 years and I have to be honest they get better and better and greater with time at first I only went for eyebrow wax now I go for haircuts cavitation radio frequency treatment to get my nails done and many other services they have really polite people working theyre always having their customers laughing always worrying about their customers always giving their customers the best services. I shower 2 to 3 times a day I washed dishes all day long I clean every day I have kids at home and not one nail has given me a problem not one has lifted it all the nails look like they were just put on today. You really need to go try out this Salon 100 percent recommended
Hair Color by Tim Brasfield - Beaumont Jenni Brown: I cannot speak for the other stylist in the salon, but I can speak of my experience with Tim Brasfield and the salon itself. Do yourself a HUGE favor and do not let Tim do anything with your hair! Prior to Saturday afternoon I had, key word is had, natural curly hair that was almost to my waistline. After a short amount of time in Tim’s chair, I now have chopped, “Rachel from Friends” (his words not mine for describing his trimming technique) short, layered, hideous hair. I get angry every time I look at it and there is nothing worse than hating how you look. It looks as if I took scissors that were not sharp, and without knowing a damn thing about cutting hair, cut my own hair. If I am being honest, it would probably look better!
I’m not sure how a trim went so wrong other than Tim clearly didn’t listen to his client. As a first-time client, I was a little put off that he didn’t remember my name at check in, he commented that he "was so glad I came in like I did". I came in straight from work with a messy bun. Tim claiming to be an expert stylist, used a comb initially on my hair, NEVER have I used a comb on my curls, after shampooing he wasn’t gentle about combing my hair for the second time. Tim raved about his use of European products, after he was sure to tell me that my shampoo and conditioner (Joico) choice is second tier, yet I can purchase his lavish European products on Amazon. Likely counterfeit.
I could go on, but I think you get the idea that this was an AWFUL experience. I must say in hindsight that my anxiety was spot on, and I am beyond REGRETFUL that I allowed this so-called stylist to do anything with my hair. And I use the word stylist very loosely. As for the salon of which he rents space, prepare yourself for the smell when you first walk in. It has a stench of cigarette/cigar smoke. I’m sure this is from the cigar bar next door but at any rate it is unpleasant. The salon decor is not as sophisticated as you might expect given the vibe that is trying to be conveyed. I will go as far as to say that it is somewhat juvenile with a Western Bohemian twist. Bottom line, between Tim Scissorhands and the salon being mediocre, I would definitely go someplace else.
JCPenney Salon - beaumont - Beaumont D Collins: I just got my hair butchered and walked out looking like a peacock. The original person I made my appointment with apparently was not there so another stylist was assigned to do my hair. The original stylist I selected had over 18 years experience which is why I chose her. This new stylist Hevin i found out is fresh out of cosmetology school after doing a little research. I cried going to my truck and immediately put my scarf on my head. So disappointed, i will never go back. Hoping to find the original stylist so she can fix my hair. Apparently they let people with no experience cut peoples hair....stay far away.
