1 /5 Kaitlin Castro: If you have small children, you will be accused of causing distraction and asked to leave.
I have always known my faith and gone to church growing up, however I hadn’t gone back to church until this year. My husband has never been to church. We finally start attending here maybe 3-4 times until one Sunday during service, I am tapped on my shoulder (by some guy in the sound booth) that myself and my baby to step outside, leaving my husband and my 7 year old inside. I was told my baby was being a distraction and that i couldn’t go back inside. I know when my child is being a distraction, I would have gotten up myself had it gotten to the point. However it never did. I do remember a small child making some noise towards the front, we were on the very last row. We haven’t been back since. Again, my husband has never been to church in the 28 years of his life and this happens. A quiet church is a dying church. The most welcomed place you could go to, was the absolute most unwelcomed.
