5 /5 Jonathan Byrd: I was discharged from Sacred oaks today . After my stay I am in dismay by all the negative reviews. I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. I came in with severe debilitating anxiety and depression. My stay was 7 days . I was treated like family from the second I entered the facility, even being in extreme distress upon arrival. The facility and grounds are kept immaculately clean and maintained. The food is very good. This is a place to come to get stabilized and leveled out. They set you up with doctors and therapists to help you succeed upon discharge. It is not a permanent rehabilitation center . There are 4-5 group therapy sessions daily which really help on the road to recovery. The nurses were all very helpful and patient. I want to give a big thank you to all the techs especially Freddie who was the first person I met and helped me remain calm during Intake. Josh , Antoine , Tony , Cleo , and the all of the techs care about each and every patients well-being. They went above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay during a time of distress . I left the facility feeling much better and more positive . Thank you everyone at Sacred Oaks !

5 /5 Markesha Davis: Despite some of the negative reviews my 19 year old son came here for 7 days and came out a totally improved person. Staff was comforting and explained services and medications in detail. The doctors were able to communicate on his young adult level making him feel comfortable with staying. Highly recommended facility, my son loves this place and made great connections during his stay. Very diverse facility, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

5 /5 Matthew Ray: This is a very nice facility. The staff treat the patients with dignity and respect, and actually care about those they are looking after. The place is CLEAN, the food is very good, and the staff look out for the clients. If you have a loved one who is in this facility, I promise you they are in good hands.

1 /5 Maegan Jordan: The paramedics made me go here. They refused to let me call a lawyer. The physicians assiant KATY is an absolute robot. I want everyone to know how TERRIBLE she is. A true disgrace to the medical community. She "takes care " of everyone in the facility, which is impossible. She asks everyone the same questions and makes notes on a piece of printer paper in front of every patient. Unless you are the last patient, youre rights have been totally violated. She asked nothing about my background. She took me off all my medications that I was on for 5 years. She is the WORST practitioner I have ever met!! I was going through withdrawals and had to fake it because they would hold me longer. I was supposed to get a RTW letter at discharge and it wasnt in my packet. I have left several messages with all of their offices with no reply. They hold you as long as possible to get your $1000/ day. Thats all they care about. I spent more time with the nutritionist in one day than I did with Katy whom was supposed to be taking care of my mental health the 7 days I was there. We also were not allowed to keep soap in our bathrooms so me and my roommate got UTIS, which were resistant to oral antibiotics and required gentamycin shots which I was told to receive after discharge. They also lost my urine sample so had to give a total of 3. I presume to charge the insurance. How do you lose urine? I was also woken up in the middle of the night on my third day because they had no record of my photo. So a technician took a new photo. How does a facility lose urine and photos (which are medical records)? Just completely unprofessional. The meal plans suggested by the nutritionist were not provided. The food was disgusting. The "fruit" was canned fruit in high fructose corn syrup. Vegetables were basically nonexistent. The discharge plans discussed were not carried through. Dr. Qureshi and Katy should both lose their licenses for negligence and I will be reporting more issues to the appropriate authorities. Do not come here willingly and if your family member is forced here like I was, request a transfer as soon as possible!!! This place is truly disgusting unless you want your family member back off worse than they were... Look up Dr Salah Qureshi on the Texas State Medical Board website and his physician assistants.. Katy has 20 supervised hours. Some of the others have the ability to prescribe controlled substances but not dangerous drugs (which in laymans terms include things like blood pressure, cholesterol, vitamins, etc.) Huge red flags!!!! Would you give your mental health to someone that only has 20 supervised hours??? Would you give your care to someone who only is allowed to prescribe controlled substances under Dr. Salah Qureshi??

THIS IS BEHAVIORAL MEDICAL HOSPITAL AND PART OF A HUGE CORPORATION DONT if you care about your family member dont send them here. I was trying to get help for my 83 year old mother with dementia. She just came to live with me and I wanted to get her stabilized on her meds. All this was VOLUNTARY BUT THEY WONT LET HER LEAVE. She is scared to death I can hear people screaming in the background when I call. My mother is bedridden and they have no facilities for her to use the phone, they hardly answer the phone. I am constantly told to call back in 30 minutes and then they say shes asleep or they have other patients to take care of. Yet they only allow calls 2-4 & 7-9 visits can only be for 30 minutes between 2-4 weekdays no weekend visiting hours. My poor mother has only been there 24 hours and she has been set back years in her condition. I was told how lucky was because they had one bed available . Because the girl who tried to kill herself didnt have insurance. I would gladly have paid for that girl to get the bed because my mother is suffering. I just wanted her to get help with her meds and now the co CEOs and the P.R. person dont want to release my mother the insurance cash cow. Dont let them fool you its all about the money. They dont have her medical records, they dont know her medication list, they dont know anything about her. However Dr. Loyola has to keep her because I wont co-operate with them holding her against her will.
