Ms C: I really enjoyed the Pavillion for us to have a birthday party. I loved that it was clean and had water bins. The Littles were able to play in the playground area too.
Nacho Fonseca: What an incredible experience for the entire family. The ranch is beautiful with breathtaking views. Plenty of outdoor activities for kids to do while I could enjoy some tranquility with my wife. The offerings are super fun and the Sotolongos are so friendly and accommodating it was perfect. Dont forget to take the hay ride and enjoy some smores by the fire!
Phi Nguyen: Nice place to visit, chill out, and learn a bit about the history of the Monument. It is also a good stop for quick break if you are heading from/to Brenham through 105. Quite a few photo opportunities nearby and not too far from Washington on the Brazos State Park.
Mirna Velez De Mansilla: Great cultural experience. Guide was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. After tour we were able to walk around and take it all in. Loved it. Definitely going again.
Deepak: Iconic landmark and unique location to visit in Seguin. Pecan is being symbolised as a pride of Seguin and has a long last history. More can inferred from the Seguin Public library few blocks away. 2Hrs limited parking available few blocks away.
Also dont forget to have selfie with famous squirrel sculpture nearby.(attached pic)
Good place to spend time with kids and must recommended
Richard Castilla: Such history and wonderful architecture with a beautiful back story. The doll house is showing its age and needs a little TLC. But, glad it is still be cared for.
Abby H.: Fascinating. Guide is very knowledgeable, great with kids and adults alike, tailors conversation and facts to interest. Beautiful home, tons of history. Highly recommend.
Hanna Salazar: I have utilized the trail multiple times, and each time, its a different experience.
I absolutely enjoyed the trail extension from the library to Max Starke Park. This edition is a game changer. The trail is very diverse, with multiple locations throughout the trail to start. Make it a mile or 3 or more walk depending on your goals. The trail is well maintained, and I have always felt safe. A must do if you enjoy walking, running, biking, or skating.
David: Accidentally pulled into the lot late at night when I was doing night photography of lit up buildings around Seguin. The plant in the pictures, the colorful lights of water tower, and couple other places.. this park is perfectly situated and has a playscape for kids and i believe theres a trail or track for running or walking.. probably a place designed for kids and parents to be active doing their own thing but still allowing easy visual access for parents watching their kids from the trail/track. Even thru the darkness, i can see that the park seems well maintained and clean (at least, on the surface level) and the park is situated almost exclusively (like any good local open secret hidden paradise) with a small entrance but once you park, seems like another world (remember Secret Gardens movie, 1993?) or alternate reality. Anyways, go check it out but be mindful of the kids that are playing..we all have our childhood memories of that one special place, park or otherwise, so lets make sure these kids get/create their special childhood memories thatll last their lifetime.
