5 /5 Juan De La Rosa: When my family and I started looking for a church, we visited RCCC twice before I decided it was the place where I wanted to build our spiritual home. From the very first visit, I was drawn to the church, but I was cautious because, being a large church, I worried we wouldn’t be able to connect with anyone, especially the pastor. We had previously left a big church for that very reason—there was no personal connection with the pastor.
By our second visit, I was about 90% sure this was where I wanted to be, but I listened to my wife, and we tried other churches. The third time we visited, everything changed. Pastor Pete came right up to us, shook our hands, and greeted both me and my wife by name, saying, "It’s great to see you again." That moment made all the difference. I felt an immediate sense of belonging, as though we had found our church family. It was clear that no matter who you are, this is a place where you can start or grow your relationship with God, with the guidance of Pastor Pete. It truly felt like home.
