Heather Dean: I love being a part of this growing new community in the heart of Pearland. The sermons are scripture based and Pastor Silverio is an authentic leader. Everyone that attends is eager to welcome new faces and grow the group. I have been a member of FUMC Pearland for many years, and have always believed in its mission. NewSong Worship truly feels like the start of something special here.
Lia Nguyen: Wonderful Women’s ministry, Women’s Bible study, Friday family events, religious Ed and social events. Kind and caring pastor and priests. Excellent middle school youth program. God bless!
Daniel Glass: This church has an authentic spirit for helping its community, and consistently contributes its time and resources to local non-profits and outreaches such as pregnancy centers, adoption agencies, counseling services, and prison ministries; there is also an interest in international ministry efforts, specifically in Bulgaria. If youre looking to get plugged into a church that makes a real impact, Shadycrest is one worth considering.
Lucia Zhang: A wonderful place to worship and connect with a warm and welcoming community. The atmosphere is truly uplifting, and the services are filled with heartfelt worship that brings you closer to HIM. The sense of fellowship here is incredible, with opportunities to build meaningful relationships and grow spiritually alongside others who share your faith.
Briana Boyce: This Church is not short of a word! Between praise and worship, the sermon and Bible Study I have leave service feeling encouraged. I have grown tremendously here. The leadership will also take the time to speak with you and encourage you in the Lord!
Blanche Schuchardt: The Sunday Services are one of the most encouraging points of my week. I love getting together with everyone to worship God through song and teaching. Its been the first church where I see the other members as family. Its refreshing to have that kind of community, especially as you get older. If you are looking for a church, you should definitely stop by our service and check it out for yourself. :) Wed love to have you!
Stuart Big: Some really good people. Some good things about the church! But still…in some ways cult-like. And toxic, bad pastoring at times. Bad pastoring is not particularly a good fit with college students, who are impressionable and more prone to explore new things.
Some (but not all) of my friends who went there, have gotten hurt bad. I’ve seen people fall away from their faith and lose their way, marriages eroded and die, and some college students really lost their career paths.
It makes me sad to see so many 5 star reviews here, as I know there’s another side of the story.
