Hunt Regional Medical Center - Emergency Room - Greenville M.W. Lowman: I am a Disabled Veteran, and last I was transported to Hunt Regional Medical center via EMS as my temperature reached almost 104. When I arrived to the ER I was placed in the hallway on one of the hospital beds. NO PRIVACY WHATSOEVER as that is where I stayed for the 3-4 hours perhaps longer. My personal medical history was discussed for all to hear, patients and staff. IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN THAT IS A VIOLATION OF HIPPA LAWS IN A MAJOR WAY Not all the staff were rude, but there were enough to raise concerns. They acted as if I was a nuisance or inconvenience even with a poster on the wall at the nurses station that stated "We proudly support our Veterans". I can understand being busy, but for this type of care to take place is ridiculous. I have been to a few hospitals in my 52 years on this earth, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Believe me I will not going back. If I have to I will go to the VA in Dallas for treatment!!!
