1 /5 Tammy Jantzen: I my mother in for a full set of nail services, as I only intended to have her toenail polish changed while waiting in her. I was quoted a price of $12.00, which I felt was excessive, but I decided to proceed with the service. Upon sitting in the chair, I found the staff member to be unfriendly. I requested a floral design on the big toe three times; however, she applied a plain polish and walked away without fulfilling my request for the flower design. I waited for 48 minutes with cold feet for her return, during which time I received no communication. I eventually approached the owner, Lee, who assured me that he would apply the floral design and proceeded to paint on a basic tone instead. I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism and care. The owner mentioned he would return to apply a sealant but never came back. By this time, my mother had completed her service, which exceeded one hour. He charged me $17, and when I expressed my assumption that the cost was $12, he explained that it was indeed $12, but since I requested a design (the flower on the toe), there was an additional charge of $5. I argued that the extra charge was unwarranted. The owner spoke to me dismissively, making me feel as though my concerns were silly. I would like to know if you believe this service was worth $17, especially when I could have easily performed the task myself, achieving a far superior result. Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you could examine the photograph I have provided, as the fake - press I did myself looks significantly better than what was rendered by the salon. I have no intention of returning, I feel because I was a minimum service I didnt warrant better service Im not a new customer he should have made it better or me happy. I got home to see the nail was completely ruined
