3 /5 Lynsey C.: Incredibly friendly people, I wish more churches were this welcoming! The music was nice in getting the congregation into the right mindset. However, when the preaching started my husband and I grew wide eyed. We had no idea it was penacostal church, despite checking out their website and Facebook page. There was a man literally yelling with rough enthusiasm at the preacher to “preach it!” during the sermon. Later when trying to replicate the tone and pitch, I actually hurt my vocal cords a little. Also, the pastor kept saying inspirational phrases he came up with and would encourage people to clap and encourage him. It was a little odd.
