1 /5 Bobby Nisbet: I had an early appointment on Saturday morning for a procedure. I spent the entire day prior preparing for it. I was met with an employee who rapid fired one word questions without waiting for answers. "Name" before I could give it it was "License and Insurance card", then "Name" and I started with my first name and all she said was "Last". I was startled with the attitude that I was met with. Then I was told you need to pay $408. When I said I wasnt paying that she told me I wasnt getting anything done. I told her I would make a partial and she said only 1/2 would be acceptable. My husband cursed, "BS" but quickly caught himself..... Who is this person??? I asked her what it was for and she cited Blue Cross Blue Shield Allowance. To be a patient, going under anesthesia for a procedure, to be treated like that was uncalled for. I couldnt get my doctor on the phone to talk to him about it, nor did he call me which leaves many more questions. I decided that if thats how they are going to talk to me and treat me then there is no way I was putting my life in their hands. Hey girlie at the front desk on Saturday morning, and you too, the one who was hiding out of site, if youre not morning people then maybe this isnt the job for you. I will be reporting you to Blue Cross and Blue Shield to see if I can get you all off of their preferred list. Needless to say, I walked out. Ill be looking up the Director of this establishment and speaking with him/her also. Probably another waste of my breath.... Deborah Nisbet
