    Merri Bayarena: Visited this church for the first time today & I’m SO GLAD I did! My good friend Judy Blalock invited me months ago & how I wish I had the opportunity to come in sooner! Pastor Beasley is the very respected & beloved head of this Baptist congregation. Chuck Blalock led the singing part of the service & a few of his selections took me back to my early years attending church with my very much loved Grams. I instantly felt a connection in my heart as I tried not to get emotional on my first visit. Everyone I was introduced to made me feel so welcome & they expressed how happy they were I was there. Several members invited me back. The entire congregation is extremely kind, welcoming & made me feel comfortable. There are several classrooms for different ages for Bible lessons & the nursery is cozy & clean. The sermon wasn’t overly long & the Pastor spoke with an enthusiasm that drew me in. The choir sang, two ladies, one on an organ & the other sweet gal on a piano completed the music. Lloyd worked his magic on electronics from the sound booth. Many families seem to make up the body of the church & everyone is VERY inviting & friendly without pressuring you to participate into leaving a monetary offering or questioning you about personal things you may not be prepared to answer or anything that would make you feel awkward as a first time visitor! I’m looking forward to returning. I feel my heart & soul quite happy having visited this church today! Many Thank You’s to the Memory Lane Missionary Baptist Church for the blessing I received today. Praise God!
