She perfectly understood my hair needs and I was relieved to find a trusted stylist in a new town.
In November, I reached out to book with Fallon again, but she was no longer there. They suggested Grace. I agreed and booked her for the 30th.
My appointment was at 2 pm, but I received a text asking if I could come in at 1 pm. I accommodated, as I have two small kids and it was during their nap time. However, about an hour later, Grace asked if I could come in again at 2 pm due to a client’s extended coloring time.
I arrived at 1:45 pm, but Grace was still with a client. The receptionist informed me she would wash my hair for Grace. I asked for a consult, but she responded, “What do you want done?” I explained my hair needs, and she said Grace could review my hair while it was wet.
When Grace was finished with her other client, she came over and finished washing my hair. We then went back to her chair.
I gave my reference photo (layers, a face frame, texture/dimension) and she seemed confident enough to cut my hair. She finished cutting it, showed me what she did (although I couldn’t really tell because my hair is wavy) and offered to curl it. I paid a $62+ tip and left around 3:40pm which was way longer than I anticipated on staying.
I left my hair curled for 5 days and finally washed and blow-dried it. It was SO uneven, with gaps, holes, layers that didn’t blend, chunks of hair missing, and heaviness on top. I was so upset because I spent so much money for my hair to be ruined.
I reached out via Instagram again on December 12, showing them the damage and expressing my unhappiness. They said I was outside their one-week policy window but wanted to ensure I was satisfied. They offered to have Grace cut it again with a manager on duty. I hesitated to have Grace recut it, but I accepted since that was their only offer.
I returned on December 17th for it to be fixed, but it wasn’t. The stylist could see the issues and “corrected them”. When she was done, the manager was called over, said it was perfect and there was nothing else to do. But there were still so many issues. I felt like my concerns would be dismissed if I complained again since it was the second time I was there and the manager had seen it and approved it. So I said thank you, left, and reached out to my local FB groups to see if anyone knew where Fallon went so she could truly fix it. She corrected it, charged me less, and it looks so much better!
I’m disappointed by my experience at this salon. I really enjoyed my time there when I went back in June but this experience left me with hair trauma. Especially after going back to have it fixed and being told it’s perfect when it clearly wasn’t.
I included my reference photo, and my conversation saying what my hair needs were. My initial cut is my blue PJ’s, my Buc-ee’s shirt is the revised version, and the final picture is what Fallon did today.
Lauris The Look Salon - Belton Angel G.: Lauri is great at cutting my hair and is efficient with time. Support our local businesses! She has been getting busy lately, so call ahead of time with an appointment.
The Greenbriar Salon & Spa - Belton Trinity Faith: I had an incredible pedicure experience with Kathi at Greenbriar. I will never go anywhere else to get my toes done again! The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. I was offered a glass of wine and a neck pillow and I almost fell asleep, haha. Kathi was attentive and gentle and my feet look and feel amazing. I cant wait for my next appointment!
Shear Bliss Hair Salon - Belton Reyna Cobb: I got my hair done here today by Abby R. I was so self conscious of the color and breakage/frizz I had but I came out with my natural color and gorgeous silky curls! I could not recommend a better stylist than Abby. She’s super friendly and answered every question I had about hair and was detailed too! The salon is so cute as well! I had to take pictures of everything. She showed my how to style my hair and what products I could use for style and treatment. 1000000/10 recommend Abby!
Btw I got a cut, full color, and bought a product to help with my hair and it was super affordable!!!
Alter Salon - Belton Nancy Ajtun: So amazing!! I’m still somewhat new to the area of bell county and I was nervous to get my hair cut here because a lot of salons here are more southern which is great but not my vibe, alter is amazing!! The salon was so welcoming and eclectic and fun!! I knew they would do a great job on my hair. Bree cut my hair and she was amazing! i originally had another stylist booked but they let me know beforehand she wouldn’t be available today and gave me the option of waiting for another opening with my original stylist or I could rebook with someone else, so very thankful for the communication! im so glad I kept my appointment and went with Bree, I loved her!! She was so sweet and a fellow animal lover like me so we got along great! I can have a bit of anxiety and she put me right at ease, and never made it awkward at all. Plus I got offered a drink or snacks throughout my appointment which I never had before and it was so fun! cant wait to come back! and she helped me with donating my hair!

Monarch Salon - Belton Abby Fenner: Morgan Weber did SUCH an amazing job on my hair!! I wanted a lived in bright but natural looking blonde (complicated I know) and she NAILED it. Highly recommend her ♡
She will be doing my wedding color for sure!!
Haute Seat Salon - Belton Nickole Sarles: Jocelyn was my stylist for years before I moved. It took me a long time to trust another stylist the way I did Jocelyn and her team. Jocelyn is the purest and kindest soul. She really always took care of me and made me feel so special. She could read me like a book and knew when I just needed those quiet appointments VS. the chatty ones.
She truly knows what she’s doing, I never had issues with my hair or extensions with her. She always took her time and never rushed. She was completely honest with me if I wanted to change my hair color or cut my hair, she would educate me on what looks best on my face shape and skin tone, etc.
I don’t think Jocelyn ever had a bad day, she always had a good attitude and she’s a great business owner. She never spoke badly about anyone including clients. I’ve been to some salons where stylist will talk badly about clients and situations and I always thought it was extremely tacky. Jocelyn never did anything of the sort. She was always a positive ray of sunshine and the other gals in the salon I feel are the same. No bad vibes here. ❤️ Don’t even question coming here if you’re, you won’t regret it.
