5 /5 Adrian Curry: I’ve lived in Wylie for a little over a year and I had looked into several churches that were near, all were wonderful visits but I just didn’t get that feeling of “You know” so I continue to drive to Frisco to service at 9am. On April 27th I couldn’t make it to Frisco but I had to be in service surrounded by other believers, so I googled AGAIN, mind you I’ve lived in Wylie now a little over a year, so The Mt. Hebron Baptist Church popped up (it had NEVER popped up, through all my previous searches). So being an older PK kid I had to look them up on YouTube first. Well I went and my my my! First of all the greeting at the front door and the attentive spirit of the members of the Mount to make sure I felt comfortable was amazing! Now the blessing was they had just welcomed their new Senior Pastor and First Lady (Pastor & First Lady Andre Kirkland). When I tell you this young man is anointed & can PREACH! I feel God waited to introduce me to Mt. Hebron because this Pastor and Wife are young and full of spirit still respecting old traditions but bringing a new freshness & flair that grabs the attention of each generation. I had to share the service with my father who is a Pastor in East Tx, & he enjoyed the message. I returned this morning and was blessed - When “On the Way” Gets “In the way”. Awesome word!!! Now I believe in making noise in service I witness so I must admit I held myself because it is a little more conservative than what I’m accustomed to but the WORD stands TRUE AND I love visiting this church. I will definitely be returning again!
