1 /5 Cade Carter: I can’t recommend this place at all if you’re having transmission problems and have no other vehicles to drive. I brought my truck in November 12th and didn’t get it back till January 20th. A total of 10 weeks… For the final 7 weeks my truck was in the shop, I would call once a week for an update and got the same answer “we will get you back in it next week.” Leland their manager had called me January 9 on a Thursday to tell me their transmission guy was out sick for the whole week. After I had been expecting to be back in my truck for weeks already. (Ironic they’re called “Mr Transmission” yet only have 1 guy rebuilding them.) A transmission rebuild should take no more than a week to complete, that is assuming you have every part needed. I understand there is a line that you must wait in. But transparency is key in running a business, and when you get the same answer every week yet no results, it’s frustrating. They seemed to have done a fine job rebuilding the transmission. But I would have been better off swapping out the transmission myself in a weekend. I feel the price for a rebuild was a little high for a very common transmission (4l60e). $2800. Overall, I can’t recommend this place for transmission work if your vehicle is your only means of transportation.
