5 /5 Amy ONeal: Went to a few other churches before we felt like this was a fit. We are new to the area and wanted to belong to a church that you could take a message home from. I don’t know if that makes sense but we didn’t just want a place to sit and listen and leave. We wanted a place that left you thinking about what you needed to change and the tools to do it. Somewhere that isn’t afraid to teach directly what the Bible says and a following of Jesus. Not too big and engulfed in production and a show, or asking for you to empty your pockets.

Mid Cities has many programs for children & adults and seems to be very well organized. At 1st glance Id give them 4 stars & it could easily be a 5 star church. The preaching & teaching were sound. I heard a visiting preacher who was excellent.

They honor God though their heart-felt worship, preaching the word of God, and encouraging everyone to learn and grow in their relationships with God. Its definitely not a church that is content with just having a high attendance. They want to see tangible change in the lives of their people, a change that can only come through Jesus. They do all this without ever losing sight of the fact that we all need family. Family should be a group of people that will love you unconditionally, like you for who are, but also be bold enough to be honest with you. In my experience, Mid-cities does all of the above. Come visit and you will be welcomed with genuine smiling faces, a cup of coffee, and a place you could call home.
