Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Center - Medical Center - San Antonio
Nichole: My 2 year old son had surgery here on December 18th and the pre operation nurse Joann was extremely good with us. She handled our anxiety with such grace and compassion. She knew exactly how to make the situation more comfortable for my son and was reassuring. Thank You.

Angela Thatcher: Patient abandonment- I never leave poor reviews but in this instance - well deserved. I have been a Patient at this location for over 10 years. I originally met with Dr. Gonzales but eventually was transitioned to the PA who eventually became a Dr. It was time for me to schedule my 6 month follow up and refill my meds. When I called to schedule my appointment I was told that the PA was no longer there and that they were not taking any new patients. I have been a patient there for over 10 years - so how would I be considered a new patient? I asked who was taking in new patients and was told to look on the website and call around. I left a message to have the office manager call me. I received a call and the number hung up after the first ring. In hindsight it seems like the manager wanted to be able to show that he attempted to call. I went to the patient portal and the system let me book an appointment. I received multiple emails and text messages to confirm My appointment and Check in. When I arrived I was told they would not be Able to see me because the Dr was not taking Any of Donoruma’s patients. I asked to speak with the office manager (Joseph) and I expressed my disappointment in how they were handling this situation with patients. He said letters were sent out (which I did not receive). I suggested they should have also contacted patients through their portal or email and He said we had a sign up in the lobby for a month. He was un-empathetic during the entire conversation. I asked for the number to the dept that oversees the practice and he said “I’m not going to give it to you”. I am appalled at how a Medical practice would leave patients with no care and not help them find another solution. Clearly this office does not want to care for patients. I just looked at other reviews and am surprised it took me this long to see how poorly they treat their patients. I am guessing that is why Dr Donoruma left. He was great. I can only imagine how many other patients have been dismissed like this. Steer clear of this location. Patient abandonment!
HealthTexas Primary Care Doctors (Schertz Clinic) - Schertz
Kathryn Watson: Wish I could give a 0. This was the absolute worst doctor and worst experience we have ever had. I made an appointment for my husband with Dr. Lim. I specifically requested that we see him since he was a Geriatrician and Internal Medicine doctor. We are fairly new to the area and were hoping to find a doctor closer to us and had some valid concerns about his health and bloodwork. When we arrived we were told our appointment was with the PA. Normally this would not have been a problem but because of our concerns and because we had specified we wanted to see Dr. Lim we refused the appointment. We were rescheduled for another day. It was obvious from the minute he walked into the room he was not happy to be there. I had prepared a spreadsheet with the bloodwork we were concerned about to help save him time. He took a quick look at it and threw it on the table declaring oh I see you have Chronic kidney Disease. No one had told my husband this before though I suspected it. It was a rude way to inform a patient. He said all we could do was to eat less salt. No discussion on how much less or what else could be done. When we asked if my husband should see a nephrologist or a urologist ( we were not sure which one) his response astounded me. Of this is not necessary, he said. we will wait until it gets much worse to do anything. He refused to refer us to a specialist. Luckily we have original medicare so id not need his referral to book with a specialist. We tried to ask questions about several blood tests and what they mean. He could not be bothered and continued to brush us off. He then made a strong point in letting us know that in the future we would only see the PA and would not see him. No thank you! I want nothing to do with this clinic and I would not recommend that anyone use Health Texas.

Dr. Pedro Zavala - San Antonio
Mariajose Arredondo: Without a doubt, the best pediatrician in the city. I won’t let anyone else touch my baby. That’s coming from someone who had a home birth and is very protective of her space especially in regards to the medical field!

Yvonne: Before you schedule your appointments or have any services provided, ask about how you will be billed. Crazy, that this clinic will send you 3 different bills because they outsource their services. Highway robbery. Can’t even get a good number to the billing department to get an itemized bill.
Endocrinology Nuclear Medicine Associates, PA Jeannie A. Baquero M.D. - San Antonio
Adolfo M: I cant speak highly enough of Endocrinology Nuclear Medicine Associates. The entire experience, from the moment I walked in, was fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the front desk was not only knowledgeable, but very upbeat and professional they also took the time to address all my questions and concerns.
WellMed - San Antonio
Armando Nagao: There is a nurse/tech named Raquel who was very rude. We called and made arrangements to accompany my father for his visit. She said no one can go due to Covid. I explained the arrangements that were made and that we were both fully vaccinated. She said no, the people you spoke with(Well Med call center) dont know our protocol and its not their business how we do things. If the call center was wrong then they should be coached or retrained. Raquel should be coached as well on how to speak to others with kindness and respect.
Pulmonology Clinic at CHRISTUS Childrens - San Antonio
Parg M (BoyMom): Definitely does not have companion for there patients. My son was there for his appointment right on time and was told he was late since he didn’t arrive 15-20 min early. Never was I made aware if I was not 15min early that I would be late and my appointment would be canceled. My son has another appointment that same day in the same building and there clinic told me I needed to be there 15 min early which I was. Terrible patient care. We waited 4 months for the appointment and now have to wait another 4 months to see the doctor. What a shame. I just hope the management will make the changes to include that information in the text messages and phone calls like the other clinics do. I even have the messages that show there was no communication about 15min prior arrival time.
