B B: Uplifting protestant church with great music, singing and a female pastor. Friendly, lots of people said hello. Communion every Sunday - open to all. Fully gay inclusive. Free coffee too. My husband said it was like a 12 Step meeting with music.

V Rosalinda (Nena): I LOVE JESUS and One Chapel has been my church for a bit over two years now. I find myself so connected with my Lord when we are in praise and worship. One Chapel welcomes people and helps them get connected with groups and other events that happen there. This church does not push religion on anyone. Come visit and find out for yourself. God loves you and we do too at One Chapel!

Trubilla Nathan (Talbert): Love it here! We started coming about 7 years ago, and found ourselves a wonderful family of sweet and caring people. They have been so much more supporting than our biological family ever could. Trust me, if you are searching for good, genuine people. This is the place. And if you have any questions or doubts about faith. Bring them. Come as you are! There is no pressure or judging in this place!
St. Davids Episcopal Church - Austin
    St. Davids Episcopal Church
Scott La Rock: I took my wife to St. Davids for a distinctive date night (a Fever presentation - Candlelight: Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons concerto). The churchs historical sanctuary was the perfect atmosphere/backdrop for this classical performance. The church has impressive woodwork, decor, and furniture throughout. Highly recommended as a venue if you ever get the opportunity.

Nora E Bradshaw: My husband and I did premarital counseling with Reverend Megan Peglar here. I highly recommend her. We also visited the church for service. Both Megan and the assistant pastor were great. The church is very welcoming, and communion is open to all people.
    Central Christian Church - Austin
William White: I attended this Church for only one Sunday when I was looking for a Church over a year ago. There was largely an older population that was very small and was at the time meeting in a small room on the side due to issues with the HVAC system. I would neither recommend this Church nor not recommend this Church. I primarily attended this Church for the Architectural aspect and was saddened that I was unable to view the Sanctuary due to their HVAC issues. I 100% would recommend this building for anybody interested in Architecture.
San Luis Rey Catholic Church - Laredo
Michele DeVoe: We rode here by bicycle and felt very welcome at the 5 PM English mass which is a youth service. It was wonderful to see the participation! The music ministry was excellent with contemporary selections well suited for the days readings. The priest provided an engaging homily complete with PowerPoint slides that added to the interest. We even asked for a copy to be emailed to us. We are so glad we were able to attend mass here!

    Laredo Church-The Crossroads - Laredo
Scarecrow: I am writing this review as a previous member of The Crossroads. After being away for some time, my brother and I decided to attend service on May 11, 2025. We had been in the building for less than ten minutes when a man approached us, escorted us out of the room, and searched me for weapons because I was wearing a coat. This occurred in a public area where children and families were walking by, making the experience even more humiliating. I was wearing a button-down shirt with the word Jesus and a Bible verse printed on it, along with a cross necklace, so the assumption that I might be carrying a weapon was particularly baffling and offensive. I was deeply disappointed that I was not even recognized. We left the church immediately due to how unwelcome and criminalized I felt, especially considering it was my brothers very first time visiting. Being treated like criminals in this manner is unacceptable, and as a result, I will not be recommending The Crossroads to anyone. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this church again.
