  • What Clients Are Saying about Lake Park (on GG)
5 /5 Pratichha W: It is wonderful place to take kids during weekend. My son loves being here and swimming. It is great place to be in the weekend. It is one of the best example of waterfront planning. This lake is the great way to beat the hot weather of Texas during summer. I think everyone should visit here for enjoyment. There are lots of picnic spot to have fun with family and friends.
5 /5 Ed Troyer: Inexpensive with great views. Not state of the art and no sewer. It does have a dump station. Close to amenities. Some air traffic noise from DFW. Gate is locked at night. Golf course adjacent. Well behaved dogs are fine, but no dogs allowed without a person outside with them. They are adamant about it, too. Don’t show up early for check in. You will have to leave if you do. Safe, secure.
2 /5 Alex: This is a really pretty park! We came to eat dinner and enjoy the view at around 8pm . It was pretty empty. The boat ramp parking lot had maybe 3 cars in it. We figured we’d park there due to it being late and empty. However we were just getting set up to eat in our car when a police officer/park officer came into the parking lot. He pointed the front of his car directly at the passenger side where I was sitting and just stared at us. It was weird. It was creepy. He never stopped us or asked us to move, just stared at us. We paid $10 to get in and there wasn’t really any other parking next to the water. We moved to another spot farther away from the water and he followed us out of the original parking lot. While we ate we watched several other cars without trailers park in that lot and the officer drove by and didn’t care about them at all. Very consistent delivery of rules 10/10, good job! Lol
5 /5 Okeke Uzo: Great park. Nice view of the city at sunrise. Lots of fields for activities. Clean and spacious. Went fishing the other day with my brother. Enjoyed the day and caught a couple.

  • Lung Thawng Art Sculpture - Lewisville
Don DeCosta: The sculpture is not at the wooded coordinates. It is on the edge of the woods near the childrens play equipment. Much more in the open than the wooded coordinates suggest.

Jakes Hilltop Park - Flower Mound
    Jakes Hilltop Park
Brian Jones: Newly renovated, Jake’s Hilltop playground is nicely improved! The new equipment is fun and still challenging for the kids. The shaded swing set is nice, but only two regular swings. Our kids also enjoyed the light up challenge game. It was a missed opportunity for the town to add some shaded benches, though, and no word so far on the promised future splashpad. Still a great improvement to the playground.
