1 /5 Sarah Johnson: A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to treat myself to a fancy haircut at a nice salon that got good reviews. I am generally low maintenance and dont style or do much with my hair. I booked an appointment through their facebook page, and got a confirmation email/ text shortly after. When I arrived at the salon, I saw the majority of workers were not wearing masks, during a global pandemic I found this unnerving. When I walked in two workers were sitting doing each others nails. I told them I had made an appointment online and they could not find my reservation. I showed them to confirmation and they told me they didnt know what happened, and no one was available to do my hair. I left as this was extremely irritating. They quickly followed me out and told me someone could fit me in real quick. I was grateful at the time. Im assuming the woman doing my hair didnt have a lot of time to actually cut my hair. The picture/ inspiration I told her was hair with long layers cut evenly across along the whole head. What I got was a lob with short layers completely uneven around my head. It looks like someone closed their eyes and just started cutting. I wish they would have let me leave and come back another day when they actually had time for me. Now I will be spending the next few months with my hair in a bun waiting for it to grow so I can go somewhere else and get it fixed. Will not be going back anytime soon, unless I want to spend another couple of months crying over my butchered hair.
