I’m impressed by the effort of the owner, Rockal has made to satisfy me and improve my experience with her salon from my previous visit on 6/15/24. she personally reached out to me, apologized and offered to do my hair personally again. She did a wonderful job tending to my hair and asking questions about my hair care needs, and desires. Overall, If you have locs or thinking about transitioning, give this place a try!
6/15/24- I am a new customer and my hair style is nice but it shouldn’t have taken 7 hrs to complete! My appointment was at 2 PM and I didn’t leave out of there until 8:57 PM! My service was a wash/retwist/style. The lack of self-awareness and how customers feel is disheartening in this place. First, I never in my life had a 2 hour shampoo (I felt it was too much since I told the stylist that I washed my hair earlier - in fear of the person not doing a clean scrub of my scalp). Also, I was not feeling the stressful environment - loud music/tv, stylists on their phones hearing all their business, and some stylist left her client incomplete under the dryer as they left to go home and my beautician had to pick up the slack, which delayed me more. Plus, I wish the beautician that was doing my hair would’ve gotten my consent to livestream/broadcast me on her channel the entire time she did my hair! It felt uncomfortable having to hear random conversions/cussing on her live for that amount of time. Don’t get me wrong the product was nice, but it’s not worth my time or the service I received.
