5 /5 Mommy POV: Such a great place for the kiddos! Everything Is well maintained as well as everuone will have a good time! There are swings, a small zip line, a jungle gym with slides, mini rock climbing wall and so on. There is also a tennis court, canopy/ pavilion area and much land that is wide open as well as far enough from traffic to not have to worry! Also in the area are 2 baseball fields. One called Groves and the other called Benham. In-between the fields is a batting cage.

Whether youre looking to enjoy a peaceful walk, let the kids burn off some energy, or have a fun picnic with family and friends, this park delivers. What Makes It Great ✅ Playground Area:** The park features a well-maintained playground with modern equipment that kids absolutely love. It’s a safe and fun spot for little ones to climb, swing, and slide. ✅ Walking Trails & Open Spaces: The paved walking paths are perfect for a leisurely stroll, jogging, or biking. There’s also plenty of open green space for sports, frisbee, or just relaxing under the West Texas sun. ✅ Picnic & Shade Areas: With shaded picnic tables and benches, it’s a great place to enjoy a meal outdoors. The pavilions are ideal for family gatherings or small parties. ✅ Clean & Well-Kept:The park is consistently clean, and the city does a great job maintaining the facilities, including restrooms. ✅ Dog-Friendly:A nice bonus for pet owners—there’s space to walk your furry friends, though a designated dog park would be amazing. Jim Parker Park is one of Odessa’s hidden gems. It’s family-friendly, peaceful, and offers plenty of recreational opportunities. Whether youre a local or just passing through, this park is definitely worth a visit!

3 /5 Tracy: This is a charming little park with a playground for kids and a tennis court-style area for ball games. The shaded picnic area is a nice touch and offers plenty of space. However, the restrooms were closed, and its unclear if they ever open. We parked on a side street, so it’s uncertain whether there’s a designated parking area for the park.

4 /5 Thompson Jennifer (The Jen): No close parking otherwise it would get 5 stars. The turf makes it perfect for littles to get out and play in this dusty town. The zip line and steep hill kept the kids busy for over 2 hours. Lots of fun and plenty to do.

5 /5 Heather Patton: Great place for young children! It has a hill that keeps them busy too! Parents you may need to bring something for shade as there is only one big tree nearby. Dont be scared to go down the rolling pins, its awesome! ;)
