1 /5 Jamiesia Miles: Received a quote this morning for all 4 brake pads with labor for $215. Took the car to be fixed and received a call that it would be $275 and $3XX for wheel bearing with no explanation just an attitude. I called back and explained that I will get my wheel bearing somewhere else. Hours later I was told the car was ready I asked about the price of the wheel bearing again and Jason says, “I don’t know it’ll be $300” I said,” earlier you said a different and i was just trying to clarify but you’re saying a lower price now.” Jason says, “ well i don’t know I didn’t write it down it’ll be $300 for 1 wheel bearing.” After that he said my total for the brakes would be $300 because he had to replace 2 lug nuts on tires because they were “stripped” (not true just had rotated my tires last week all lug nuts were fine. Keep reading…). I asked, “ How much are lug nuts? You can take them off and I will get my own, but I know my lug nuts are fine. I just rotated my tires last week.” Jason replies, “We will go over the price when you get here.” I get to the shop look at my car they have messed up all of my lug nuts using a impact wrench to put them back on. I had my father and husband go inside with me and Jason instantly started with an attitude. I explained that he told me it would be $215 for brakes this morning, then it became $275, on my way there it was $300, and now when he handed me the invoice it was $309.xx. He starts saying, “ I’m not going to argue with you. You can get it for $300.” I said, “ I was prepared to pay my $215 then it went to $275 and I was prepared to pay that, but now you have here $309.xx. That’s not what you originally said and I have to pay that because I need my car.” He says. “ you can take your car.” I said, “no I have to pay you. I can’t just not pay you I know how this is gonna go.” He gets red in the face and gets the bill which has $275 and I said, “ That doesn’t match the invoice. What is this? See what im saying you’re not matching what you are saying.” Jason says, “ I told you $275 so there you go you’re welcome.” I did not say thank you because it’s the principle. You start throwing numbers around and expect someone to just accept what you say and when they call you out it’s a different story. I paid my balance and let him know he does not ever have to worry about me getting Services from him. 10/10 do not recommend. If he does great by you good for you HOWEVER for me it was awful. Hopefully lug nuts are not damaged from the impact wrench they used because all of my lug nuts are bent.
