Emilie Shadden: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are a self service station but with my disability, they will help me in pumping gas. Hallettsville is lucky to have that type of service offered.
Melissa Garcia: We have used Hammer Automotive in the past and have referred many people to this business. After today, that is changing. We called to make an appt 2 weeks ago. Dropped the car off this morning as scheduled and was told he could only look at it today and any work that would need to be done would be another 2 weeks. When my husband called to check the status of the car, he said I am not going to look at it for 2 weeks. So we sent my daughter to pick it up since it would be another 2 weeks and was told we lost our place in line and that he does not call people back when he has time. I left our positive review as we did have great service in the past, but when we call ahead and make an appointment and we understand that business is good, we dont expect to be treated like this, he could have very easily called us and asked for us to reschedule.
Wendy Jansky-Serra: Mitch (my apologies if Im incorrect in my name recall) went above and beyond to help. I was in town for business and ended up with what I was assuming was a dead auxiliary battery in my hybrid. Thankfully I had a family member that could drive me to the store. I showed up there about 15 minutes before closing time and explained the issue. They did some troubleshooting and found the battery I likely needed at the store in Shiner. I went Shiner to grab the battery and met Mitch in the Kountry Bakery parking lot, where my car was inoperable. He took out my old battery, installed the new one and I was up and running! I love small town hospitality because that could have been a very expensive towing bill to get my car back to Austin had they not been so willing to help me find a resolution at the end of a days work! In a world where so many people just wont do that little extra bit that might make a huge difference in someones day, this was an amazing example of being a great human! I cant thank yall enough!
