Burleson County Cowboy Church - Caldwell Hal Halpin: WOW! This is a unique church! On my first visit, as I approached the front door, I removed my cowboy hat. When I got inside, I saw that I was the only one without a hat. There was an elaborate spread of pastries and several coffee urns, along with Iced tea coolers arranged around the entry area. The sanctuary was a large area with removable chairs and an elaborate stage. On the stage, several musical instruments were next to microphones, all set up for a show. When the time for services came, in stead of a preacher, the musicians mounted the stage and gave a dynamite performance of good old Gospel music. And that was only the beginning. Next came the preacher who gave one of the most thoughtful and thought provoking sermons I have heard in years. I heartily recommend this church for serious Christians, of whatever denomination, to come and worship. BTW, we did remove our hats whenever Scripture was being read, and whenever prayer was being offered.
