5 /5 David Cargill: After over 40 years of attendance at First Christian Church - Amarillo what keeps my family coming back? FCC has all the typical programs: music, youth, fellowship, outreach, Bible studies, etc. While these and other programs are important and provide the membership opportunities for involvement and service, they are not what drives our family. One could ask "why not" when considering membership at FCC. Our sanctuary is beautiful and sets a spiritual tone. Our ministers speak as one when it comes to the Sunday message, The message is based on the Bible, and we always come away feeling like we have a better understanding of the scriptures. What can you expect to see when you walk in the door of FCC? FCC is a place where anyone can serve formally or informally. FCC is a place where you are made to feel like family. Our family cares about others and is cared for. Our ministers and staff care for the members of our congregation. FCC ministers, staff, and members have arms wide open and are anxious to welcome others into membership.
