5 /5 Michael Happy: I’ll never forget this wonderful church, I was baptized in the old sanctuary directly across the street from the old HEB in Belton. I remember pastor Andy Davis, and Larry Putman the music director, what a combination, my grandad atha taught Sunday School. I’ll never forget my youth leaders Dean and Shelly, they were so funny! I’ll always remember all the incredible memories, I was in the youth choir agape youth choir, I went on a mission trip to Kentucky, that was so much fun, Andy Davis went on that trip, I’ll never forget Dubb the youth pastor. So many young people from UMHB attend here. What an incredible legacy this church has. I remember Andy Davis was on the radio 101.7 KLTD when it was a Christian music station. I loved the old sanctuary, I remember hearing the bells ring in Belton From the church. I would always cry when Andy Davis would give the invitation, tears would fall on my dress shoes when I would bow to pray. I’ll never forget the scriptures they would quote after some got saved John 3:16 and bless the lord oh my soul and that is within me bless the Lord. I remember Charlie Robinson such a great guy. This place changed my life, I miss Andy Davis so much, and every one here. I gave my life to Jesus in March of 1995, now I serve the Lord Im in full time ministry, I’m a full time Christian radio announcer on the west coast, This church forever changed my life. One more memory, I was given a bible when I graduated from Belton Highschool in 1999 Dubb gave it to all the youth. Oh just one more the youth took a trip to San Antonio to hear Billy Graham in person wow that was powerful.
