Nueces County Medical Examiner - Corpus Christi
lauren z: Rude people on the phone. How about a little sensitivity? Also, why take on 16 counties on a contract basis if it takes 60-90 days to get a death certificate to families? People need that piece of paper to financially survive sometimes. This is ridiculous.
Creek Stone Integrated Medical & Spa - Amarillo
David Yarbrough: Dr. Williams and his staff are the best. They listen to your concerns and are very passionate about what they do. I always receive the best care there!
Childrens Healthcare Associates Amarillo TX - Amarillo
Jenea Oakley: Dr Mackenzie dismissed my child due to the fact that I was not given a current shot record from TT. I told her he was up to date and she said well hes not and instead of allowing Me to double-check went ahead and was going to give him shots which I refused because I wanted to double-check. (And I did find out that he is completely caught up) Then I had to leave unexpectedly to go up to the hospital where my dad is and so I told them that I would come back and get the paperwork for lab work for my child the next day and they said if you leave you wont be allowed to get the paperwork and I had to leave. So Dr Mackenzie dismissed my child after the first visit just because I was given the wrong shot record by TT because I second guessed giving him shots because I was aware that they had been completed and I just wanted to double-check them (they waisted 2 shots that were already drawn up which she did not like also not my fault) and then had to leave because my dad is not well in the hospital. She honestly had an attitude from the get-go and really talked down to me when I asked any kind of questions that concerned me so honestly everything else that happened that was completely out of my control ended up being a blessing because I really wouldnt want my child to be seen by someone who is unable to listen and also someone who is unable to have an understanding that things need to be double checked and life happens. I definitely should have read the reviews before going because apparently this is very common especially with Dr Mackenzie Katie who is on staff there was amazing and was so helpful and was so kind.
Oceans Behavioral Hospital Amarillo - Amarillo
Amanda Keeney: **********EDIT TO ADD*********** I SEE YOU!! ANNA VICTORIA HAYLEE RIVERS MICHAEL WESTBROOK WENDY PATTERSON WHAT THIS FACILITY IS DOING IS DETRIMENTAL!! My husband came to you guys thinking he would be able to consult/talk to a doctor about some pretty intense and serious mental health issues he has been having that have been affecting EVERY aspect of his life since March 28, 2023..Upon entering your facility ON HIS OWN (Thursday April 18, 2024) he was told if he self admitted that within 24hrs he would be seeing the doctor to get some answers as to what may be happening with him..He was also told that he would be able to make phone calls to me within an hour of him SELF ADMITTING himself but I didnt hear from him again for over 24hrs which caused both of us some very severe separation anxiety because we are codependent and need each other..It was equally devastating to both of us!! Whoever Amber is took it upon herself to deem my husband a danger to himself and others simply because he walks around our neighborhood at night, minding his own business, making sure everyone is safe and no one is up to anything shady! The question asked of him was "If while you are out walking in the middle of the night and you see someone getting hurt would you respond to that and react?" And my husband responded with "Yes..Of course I would..Anyone would." I dont see an issue with that response.. Evidently it makes him a threat to himself and others! Ridiculous!! Thats not even the real reason I am writing this review today..Oh no..It gets much more insulting and much more deceptive..By far..About 2 months ago we started receiving the bills from our insurance carrier and let me tell you there are charges from you guys on things that absolutely NEVER EVER even took place..(Ill post the pics)..This is after you told us you were going to get him on Medicaid and we wouldnt have to pay anything for his time there..Our bill is over $4,000 and he was there from Thursday April 18, 2024 and finally left AMA on Sunday April 21, 2024 There are charges on this bill for 3 separate 90 minute one on one therapy sessions that you guys dang sure did not ever do with him..While at visitation on Friday I was there..I was in the room when the psychiatrist came in to talk to the patients for what I am assuming is your false charge of this so called 90 minute "one on one" therapy session that in reality was only about SEVEN minutes long and absolutely caused more issues with him than he ever had to begin with..I sat right in front of you and heard you tell me and my husband that if he didnt stay the weekend, until Monday, that it would be considered "non compliance" and you could and would get a judge to sign off on a court order to retain him for an unknown amount of time..So of course it scared us and he stayed! He is still having the very same issues (without the voices) with his mental health that he was having in April when he trusted you to help him and instead you failed your duty of care and destroyed any oath of protection you could have ever made..Now he wont even consider seeing another mental health doctor whatsoever and has become another one of your casualties..Another one of your numbers..And another individual in this city who is walking around with this belief that NO ONE CARES ABOUT HIM because you showed him that you absolutely dont care. How many times does my husband have to call 911 and hangup, or physically go to the police department and reach out for help or sign himself into body brokering mental health facilities before someone pays attention to him and treats him with the dignity and respect he deserves and gives him proper care? I want you to remember my name Amanda and my husbands name Corey and I want you to think about this situation when this all goes bad..And it will eventually..Not if..But when..And remember that he tried to get help..He tried to save himself..And all he got in return was your shitty fabricated bill!!
Childrens Hospital -
Chasey Ward: Northwest childrens hospitals sponsors jump houses and slides at Amarillos Hodgetown. But it costs $5 a kid.... why? Its not blocked off either. So children run over and get in line only to be told they cant go unless they have money. And get this, you have to sign a waiver. Nice. Its a horrible advertisement and I will *not* be considering their business for my 4 children.
Crystal L Stewart, MD - Amarillo
Cynthia Sch: Having to wait 3 months to get an appointment as an established patient when you’re having medical issues now. Absolutely no care for established patient’s, being told to go to an urgent care when you have a Dr.
Dr. Wyatt Weinheimer - Amarillo
Anthony Bray: Good honest Doctor who cares about clients and does amazing work. Hes to the point, gives an honest opinion about the options, and never pushes anything.
BSA CareXpress Urgent Care Ross-Osage - Amarillo
SavageQueen 8: I had never been to Carrie express before so I was a new patient feeling horrible. It was kind of a pain to do all The paperwork on my phone while feeling horrible the front desk staff we’re not very friendly and when they called me up, I couldn’t tell if she was talking to me or not She kind of had an attitude. When we got to the back, the MA was very sweet helpful And kind she made small talk, took care of us Promptly. The doctor came in and was very kind as well called in all the medications we needed and got us in and out for the back staff. I would definitely come back the checking in and out staff made the visit less pleasurable.
Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo - Amarillo
Bonnie Huseman: I would have given zero stars, but that isnt possible. I do NOT recommend staying here for any reason. My 93 year old Dad just left Vibra today after an 11 day stay for knee surgery rehab. The nursing care was abysmal. I stayed with my Dad the whole time, and being an RN myself, I was shocked at the poor care. Ive stayed with many family members when they were in the hospital and this place had the worst care Ive ever seen. My Dad was going to OT and PT each morning and afternoon. We would ask for pain medicine at least an hour before he was scheduled for therapy. It always took an hour or more for them to bring it, so he was usually in bad pain during therapy. This hampered his progress significantly. Id usually ask for pain med using the call light. After 30 minutes of waiting, Id go to nursing station and ask again. After another 15 minutes, Id go ask again. It might then be brought after another 15 minutes. Once his blood pressure was quite high and his scheduled BP meds were brought an hour late, even after asking for them 3 times. The nurses were sitting at nursing desk. I wont go into detail about the rest of things that caused dissatisfaction, but there was a lot. The nurses usually acted like it was an inconvenience to them if they were asked to do anything, eventhough I often found them at the desk looking at their phones. The food, although tasting ok, usually came lukewarm in tiny portions. The only thing we were satisfied with were the PT and OT. The therapists were nice and did a good job, but the poor nursing care made the stay unbearable and actually dangerous to his health. If possible, find somewhere else to go. Definitely do not leave your loved one here alone.
Dr. Mohamedaouf A. Khaznadar, MD - Amarillo
Margaret Spivey: I was thrilled to see Dr. Khaznadar still in practice! I am sure he would remember me as he saved my life! I was in the hospital almost a year with a botched bariatric surgery and he was the doctor that checked on me along with his amazing nurse practitioner! I sure miss you guys-we live in Dallas now, but on our next trip to Amarillo, I will pop in and let you see how your care has made me healthy again! Look no farther-your internal physician is Dr. Khaznadar!
