1 /5 Timeka Hunt: Soooo....i saw Anna.....NEVER AGAIN. A manicure is not included in a fullset. This is the 1st manicurist Ive ever been to that did not include it. I just knew my cuticles would be trimmed and atleast the extra skin clipped. Nope. There was polish all over my cuticles and under my nail even after washing and scrubbing with the brush. The pictures were taken while still sitting in the nail shop soon as she finished then again after I washed and scrubbed my hands with the nail brush.
During the drying process before the timer dings she reaches for my hand however Im thinking she needed to fix something. The back lights where ur thumb sits wasnt drying correctly. So she tells me "u have to put ur hand all the way." I tell her I did but then she aggressively removes the chrome powder twisting my hand to show me it wasnt dry as if I did it. I place my hand back under the light, this time bending my fingers to ensure they all get dry. Once she was done she put oil on my cuticles, I proceed to go scrub my hands and the pics below are before and after I scrubbed and oil was placed on my cuticles. She did an absolute terrible job. I complained and was then asked if I would wait for her to come back. I said yes I would wait..as I was there with a friend and had to wait anyway. Anna was in the back eating. I literally felt like she was rushing to go eat. I would rather she eat then do my nails next time if ur that hungry. I would never get her to do my nails ever again. I then had to pay $65 due to the additional chrome color was $15. This was sooo not worth my money. Yes my hands were ashy...dont judge me, lol.
Needless to say I didnt tip but I did tip my friends manicurist because she did a really GREAT job...her name was MC...I think, lol. She is very talented and takes her time to make sure you like it. She doesnt rush u to make decisions on ur nail color and does what is best for your nails.
Anna gets a negative 5 starts..I wouldve given 0 but thats not an option. It would be different of she actually tried to fix it. Instead she blamed me for the nails being so short and aggressively held my wrist down under the light and I had to move her had off my wrist...Im not a kid..I know how to hold my hand under a light.
In response to owner: I addressed my issues while at the shop and the fix was still completed terribly. Not sure who the manager is but I addressed my concern while seated on the chair and was asked if I could wait until she comes back (from eating). I will not return for another bad service. I’m not upset about the price, of course different services cost different. I’ve never gotten a full set and it not include nai/cuticle care. I will stick with paying $85 and getting everything completed properly the first time. Thnx but no thnx.
