Adams Automotive - Rockport Queen Grammy: I got an AC compressor done 7 years ago on my 09 Nissan Altima. He charged me $2500. I passed the car down to my son who had to get the compressor replaced again at a different shop. The quote for the same compressor? $574. He also worked on a Nissan Versa that had a transmission fluid leak. He first said the torque converter seal was leaking and quoted me around $1000 to fix it. It was still leaking after that, and then he told me it needs the torque converter itself replaced, quoting around another $1500. After getting this done, the assistant informed me he “wouldn’t be surprised if it started leaking again” because they had problems putting it on. After all this, the transmission was still leaking, and taking it back in I was told it would need a whole new transmission. Obviously I decided to not have that done, and ran from the shop as quick as I could, and had to end up getting a new vehicle after burning all my money.
Grease Monkey - Rockport Renee Royal: I came in close to closing time due to my long work hours. The gentleman who always greets me is friendly, polite, and professional. He was working alone (with no other staff) and managed to take care of my oil change without a complaint. I appreciate having a service center to go to, where I don’t have to worry about how I will be treated and I know my vehicle is taken care of.
