From across the room, she reminded a little of Great Grandma Bess. Which many of us knew by Great Grandma Blessed.

1 /5 Nicholas Wise: For those who searched for a Reformed Church in Amarillo and this came up in the results: it is most definitely not reformed per their own statement of faith, they are not confessional, and profess dispensationalism (a known false teaching of the 19th Century).

1 /5 philip sandlin: Interesting times... I was receiving well along with my emotional support dog recently and even received my adult baptism. Quite a few found petting the dog during the service comforting.The next time I was able to attend service, they had a sheriffs deputy keeping dogs (& thusly me) out. He said there was a disruption. I fully respect the churchs decision to change their animal policy. What I have an enormous issue with is that I provided my name and several contact methods to them as I intended to join. They had ample opportunities to contact me to let me know about their policy change. They chose to NOT show me the concern, compassion or anything such as Christian treatment. "How you treated the least of these" was duly noted. Matthew 25:40 is about the vulnerable and in need brother or sister. Thats me. I wont be back and I pray for the decision maker and his misguided congregation.
