4 /5 Katrina: As much as I love the idea of community bible church and its sense of community, they make it very hard to belong to something smaller there. The equip classes are a wonderful way to start to get involved, be apart of something big something changing, but they make it hard to find that way in. It was interesting to see how and where I could fit in, my strengths, and see the different options, but to be told that by the 3rd class I would need to know exactly what my calling was and how I was going to be apart makes me very anxious. I can’t even decide what charities to donate to, what tugs at my heart because it all tugs at my heart. How can I figure out my calling when I don’t even understand the options given to me. Now I feel stuck doing something I’m not excited about and kind of got pushed into because my first “choice” was technically for senior citizens. It would be better if by the 3rd class there was more of a “volunteer fair” for us to go around and get a better understanding of the options before making a choice since you are asked to only volunteer in one section. And I don’t even know where to start on community groups. The way they set up small groups before COVID was so much better and easier to sign up and be apart of. But I do enjoy the sermons and worship. God always provides Pastor Ed the right message at the right time
