5 /5 Debbie Payne: My husband and I started going to Cibolo Creek Community Church when we moved to Fair Oaks Ranch 8 years ago. My husband had been resisting returning to church, insisting that he prayed on his own. But after some coaxing, he went with me. From the very moment he heard the music (modern Christian music performed by excellent talent) and our pastor, Paul Wilson, he was hooked (so was I). Weve found Pauls easy-to-digest messages to be relevant to today, and yet, clearly linked to what the Bible says.
I would encourage anyone to visit, and if you feel compelled to return, as we did: get involved! That is the easiest way to meet people! Youll find a description of ways to do that on the churchs website. And joining a Life Group is the best way to really connect with other people who are likely searching for ways to understand the Bible and apply it when facing todays complicated world.
I cant say enough about how Cibolo Creek has impacted my life. Its made me want to be a better person, to serve others simply because they need help, and to consider how Jesus might approach something that Im struggling with. But mainly, its given me joy, inspiration, clarity and strength. I hope anyone who is looking for answers will take that next (sometimes, scary) step and give it a try. Youll be glad you did.
