I got a butterfly cut, which turned out to be a bit choppy after I washed my hair. This hairstyle tends to look choppy not styled, but I feel a bit choppy even after straightening. Not bad, but on a closer look its not smooth transitioning of layers. The styling cost me $34!!!! For a blowout ONLY. I should have asked, so this second part is my fault. Probably returning, but for a quick trim.
HairBySheleen L.L.C. (Black Hair Salon In Houston) - Houston Myriame Aura OulaĂŻ: Sheleen, she is more than professional. I have natural thick hair and can not take care of it by myself, it hurt even when I do shampoo and blowdry so I decide to call a professional and Sheleen been the best choice.
She took her time to do my shampoo and for the first time I didnt feel any pain at all even the blowdry step was painless. She took her time to explain how I should keep my hair healthy and more .
She amazing and know what she do.

M Salon - Houston Tania Martinez: M salon truly made my day. I was feeling kinda down and wanted to spice my hair up a bit. I called them and they accommodated my time. I was able to meet Grace, and her experience as a stylist made me so comfortable. She is so knowledgeable and was able to tone my hair to perfection. My trim made my hair feel soft and healthy. I will definitely be going back for future trims.
LN Hair Tech - Houston Kazoo: Don’t ever go here, I went to LN hair tech and asked for a hime cut with wispy bangs, after she finished cutting my hair, my bangs were full bangs, choppy and lopsided. And the hime cut, she took too much of the front piece and made it look like a bob cut so now my hair looks like a bob cut with bangs and a long backside. I even showed her pictures of what I wanted it to look like. I would give this place zero starts but I can’t do that.
Hair Corner Salon and Spa - Houston Jenn Sauls: Nandita does amazing work! I LOVE the plum purple balayage hair style she did for me! It’s perfect!!! It is even better than I imagined! Nandita is truly an artist, and you can tell she enjoys it! My family and I have been coming to Hair Corner for years. They always do a wonderful job, and you will not find better customer service anywhere else!
R Valentino Salon - Houston Giuliano Casstelli: I am new to this country from Peru. And Here I am clueless about the demographics. So the sesrch is on am for a new hairstylist that can really cut my hair and not just copying other people’s work but really concentrate on what is best for me. I was given the advice to Google best hair salon in River Oaks for men’s haircuts because apparently the River Oaks is the very high-end area of Houston. So to be in that area you have to be very talented to maintain a hair salon business in such a affluent area of Houston. So after Googling, I was given a variety of choices and what stood out to me was this hairstylist that takes into account an individuals, lifestyle, personality, professional lifestyle, etc., versus just cutting your hair found in a magazine or on some celebrity. Well, I booked my appointment with R Valentino Salon. And what was unique and new to me was the exclusivity of a salon suite where it’s just the client and the hairstylist versus being in a big box hair salon of chaos. Randall did a very detailed analysis not only on my hair but how I style it, wear it, etc. throughout the day. It was really cool how he walked me through every step of it and taught me a lot of things about how I can style it versus plastering it in place with products. I really do appreciate how his eye for detail was like no one I’ve ever seen before. I’m truly grateful to find a new hairstylist in this country where individuality is greatly encouraged and Randall a.k.a. Scandal Randall was the one to really help me tap into my individualized persona.
Saul Hair Studio - Houston Desiree Pereira: Saul is absolutely amazing! He has completely revived my hair and is helping restore it to a healthy, vibrant condition. He always uses the best products, ensuring no damage is done, and his recommendations for treatments and styles are always spot-on. After a terrible experience abroad that left my hair completely damaged, I turned to Saul, and I’m so glad I did. After just one treatment, my hair started looking lively and strong again. I will never trust anyone else with my hair—Saul is truly the best!
M Hair Salon - houston - Houston Nicole Groshon: I’ve been seeing Megan for several years since moving to Houston. She is kind, professional and highly skilled in both cuts and coloring. She does a wonderful job of juggling customers when there are walk-ins and makes sure you always leave happy.
