5 /5 Jon Mercer: This is a fantastic church! Lead by a humble preacher who brings God’s word weekly coupled with great community that encourages and supports each other makes this place a wonderful church home! The music is very contemporary, and while it might seem very performative, the heart of the worship team is all about praising God and not “look at how good we play”. Like most churches with a congregation above 100 people, you could come and go with no accountability if you choose. However, this church is very intentional about getting people connected so they grow in their faith. The body of believers here is open to questions and is not afraid to explore the truths of scripture with you as you seek to find who God created you to be. My kids love the children’s department and its staff are dedicated not to entertaining them, but teaching about truth and scripture. While I don’t yet have a teenager or college student/young adult in my house, I see a large community of them and I see many ministry opportunities available for them to both serve and be served.
