5 /5 Debnes Magnes: I love a straightforward approach to the Word of God. A real answer to prayer. When I stepped into Calvary Chapel Flower Mound, I found my home church. Pastor Jon opens the history in Scripture and we walk through verse by verse in a clear Spirit lead way relevant to our present time. Praise and worship time is just as inclusive to prepare our hearts and minds, and the Lord Jesus is at the center of it all. He is there in the hearts of every believer. He inhabits the praise of this friendly little place with a big mission to avail the love of God to all who enter. Expect to be richly blessed to take on the complications of life in this world today. Expect to be warmly welcomed and refreshed!

5 /5 Debbie Rotondi: December 2023 - Update. I am so thrilled that Pastor Jon encouraged us to read the One Year Bible. I can’t believe I’m almost done. I found an audio version of my translation which correctly pronounces all those hard names and places. I got my sister in Nebraska to get a One Year Bible and on her days off we listen/read together. I call this “meeting in the Throne Room”. Afterwards we discuss questions, verses that stood out, etc. It has brought us closer together. There is nothing like hearts being connected through the word of God! Next year I’ll start from the beginning again. What a blessing! This was written a year ago and we are still here and loving it…My husband and I moved out to Texas from California. We have always been a part of Calvary Chapel Churches and so very blessed to have found this fellowship! Pastor Jon is an excellent teacher. The women’s ministry is amazing. He is a good shepherd and equipping his sheep for sure. The word is served thoroughly and completely through the Holy Spirit. No “MILKshakes” just MEAT!

The word of God is taught consistently and contextually. Pastor Jon lives by the word and this is evident in his love and interest for every person to know the Jesus of the Bible. Truly a transformative experience if you want to grow in your biblical knowledge and be surrounded by those that love Christ.

5 /5 David Urquidez: Love this church, the pastor is an awesome teacher! He has helped me grow in my faith so much, and inspired me to run after my calling. The message every Wednesday and Sunday funday is spirit led, an I love it. I love how he breaks it down for me to understand the scriptures in a simplified way. The worship is always good, an the spirit man leaves full.

5 /5 Stephen Bair: Great community of believers who love Jesus. Awesome Bible studies, Spirit-led worship, and engaged fellowship. Always someone ready to pray for you, encourage you, and walk you through the scriptures in counsel. Genuinely friendly and caring brothers and sisters. Several opportunities for fellowship, including a mid-week service (Wednesday night), bible studies, prayer meetings, small groups, etc. There is an emphasis on expository teaching, chapter by chapter, book by book, placing equal emphasis on the teaching of God’s Word, from Genesis to Revelation. The Pastor is a gifted Bible teacher, relatable and passionate about sharing the Lord’s wisdom and truth with the congregation. I also like that services begin and end with praise and worship.
