5 /5 Ricardo Posadas: As a Dad of four, I had a great time at this hidden gem of a lake. Tucked discreetly within a residential neighborhood, the location feels like a well-kept secret. Upon arrival, security briefly checked my vehicle for alcohol, which is prohibited—a policy that helps maintain the family-friendly atmosphere.
We visited during Memorial Day weekend, so the parking lot was full. Arriving around 11 a.m., I was fortunate to snag one of the last spots in the back. Finding a place to set up was the next challenge. I’d recommend bringing a pop-up shade tent, as shaded spots fill up quickly, especially on busy days.
We packed snacks and lunch for the kids, but the food stand’s reasonable prices caught my eye—next time, I’ll likely grab a bite there. The lake itself is divided into two areas: a shallow section perfect for younger kids and a deeper end packed with fun features. My kids loved the two diving boards, water slides, rope swing, and the dedicated kids’ water playground.
Overall, it was a memorable day filled with fun, and we’ll definitely return!
