1 /5 Abel: I would be careful of this church. The several times I went they put a huge emphasis on DOING things, but it came across too pushy to me. I think some of the leaders have fallen for the outside worlds lie that "the church is not doing enough." But you also cant MAKE ppl do things. Thats the difference between a cult and church. Cults require you to do things to be apart of their program, Churchs can only inspire and pray for their members to grow in their walk. You cant make people work or guilt-trip ppl into working bc that will have a negative affect on the Christian. I dont think this church is a cult but it could turn that way very easily if they become too strict. I used to have a mentor growing up that was so close to God that her relationship with God alone made me WANT to do more, and it was also bc she took me under her wing and put quality time into me. So to me if u want ppl to "do more" then u have to spend more quality time with ppl, but still even then u cant make them do anything. Bc it wont even count to God anyway if u dont do it with the right heart intention.
