1 /5 Sydnee Pratt: Went to get a set for the first time in a while and got home disappointed. The tech who did my nails was extremely sweet but after 2 hours and $70, I probably won’t be returning. All nails have a lean to the right and a square opposite side. Asked for medium length coffin, coffin is not what was received. Lengths are off and some are angled crooked when looking from top of the nail. By the end of the two hours, I just wanted to leave and not sit any longer. Salon is clean and presentable but this isn’t the first time I’ve left with wonky shaped and angled nails. They look tacky and will most likely just end up cutting them off.

Went in to have them redone and immediately began getting berated and lectured about the damaging nature of reviews on a business as i sat down. I understand hearing negative instances about a business is not fun but clients do have a right to voice opinion, especially when the service was subpar. After sitting for two hours, I wanted to leave from my initial appointment, not sit even longer and have someone redo them same day. It also took a closer look to notice the issues.
Originally the set was going to be redone but I changed my mind after getting berated at length to just having them removed. Once it came time for the actual removal, he pulled out a single nail tip and was just going to rip them off using the other nail????? My original set was LESS than a week old. Popping them off would only cause MORE extensive damage to the nail bed than soaking, it doesn’t take a nail tech to know that. I was only given the choice to soak AFTER I told him not to rip them off. This told me that no matter the situation, he was not inclined to care about the integrity of anyone’s nails, especially someone that had a previous negative experience. I left the shop after this and did not have my nails redone.
Reviews can be damaging, but handling negative situations in a poor manner is even worse as a business owner. I truly had good things to say about the shop as whole until this experience, despite TWO bad sets now.
