1 /5 Hailey Williams: I have been using this shop for about a year, starting off with simple fixes such as fuel pumps and difficult fixes such as timing chambers and alternators. Both times the shop had said they understood the problem and would be able to help. While returning to the shop to pick up my vehicle they labeled it the “devil car” and that he has “gained knowledge” working on my car. However, after these difficult problems my car started to decline in acceleration, starting, and overall driving. We continued to bring them the car and they stated it was my bank A sensors, so they fixed them. That did not fix the problem. Then they said it was my bank B sensors, so they fixed those. After fixing both sets of sensors my car began to struggle to start. This was not a problem I had before. We brought the car back to them again. They stated that it could be the timing but “that is not possible because we just fixed it.” At one point they stated I should total the car and trad it in because they were “dumb-founded” After this we took it to two other shops for a second opinion. They both stated that my timing chamber was reading wrong and upon further examination my timing had slipped two teeth. Both shops stated this was fault of the mechanic as they had not installed it properly. Both shops also concluded the diagnostic stating my engine was shot due to this problem and I would need to replace it. This auto shop has declined to take accountability and said they would cover half of labor if we could prove it was a “part failure” Now I am without a car all because they failed to recognize the problem originally. Just be cautious, please. We are contemplating legal action to assist us as well.
