1 /5 Alina Perez: I really was hoping to like this blow dry bar, and am so sad I had a disappointing experience - scheduled my mom and I to have our hair washed and styled before my college graduation.
My hair was curled nicely when leaving the salon, but maybe only 2 hours later my curls had fallen. The curls were barely there and my hair was f l a t. I didnt have time to do anything about it since I had to go to my graduation. My mom, on the other hand, had to recurl her hair since the same had happened to her.
By the time I was at my graduation ceremony my hair was even straighter and I planned to call to ask if they could recurl my hair the next day since I was having a graduation party, or at least do something to fix this unfortunate experience.
I called the next morning, the girl who answered just said theres nothing she can do, but that shed have the manager reach out. The owner, Kendra, only sent a text message telling me shes sorry, that the weather was bad, and that I had told them my hair didnt stay.
I messaged her back kindly asking if anything can be done because I was and still am frustrated that I paid $50 for bad hair and Ill always have pictures of me walking the stage and graduating with bad hair. Unfortunately, she never responded - its been 5 days.
At the end of the day, I wish Kendra and her business the best, owning a small business is hard! Ive worked for small businesses for years and my family owns one so I personally understand how difficult it is. I also understand how important it is to care about the quality of the service and goods you provide.
