5 /5 Jack: A big, odd, car problem brought me to this little shop where a kindly, grizzled extra-busy man was spray-painting a stripped auto part explained that he was (obviously) busy, but he could address my car problem in two days. Thursday, I was there bright and early. Another greasy, mechanic accepted my keys and took possession of my car before I walked to a nearby restaurant and took a seat. Half an hour later, the car issue was deftly taken care of and I was ready with my charge card, thinking I was SO happy I was willing to pay up to $100. The owner (the original mechanic) came in while I was retrieving my keys. "How about $20," he says. TWENTY DOLLARS. Thank you doesnt seem quite adequate. Gruff, yet fast and HIGHLY knowledgeable, and FAIR PRICING. This little car shop has a NEW customer who will be an OLD customer as long as Im in the area. No Question.
