1 /5 Gabrielle Dieste: I came in for a dip manicure and a shellac pedicure. There was a man who did my manicure and I felt like he was missing some steps, but I wasn’t 100% sure. After about a week, my nails all begin to lift at the cuticle. I thought to myself, It was a bad manicure, I’ll never go back! My situation was far worse than I imagined! I went in to have the dip polish removed after a week and a half and found two funguses on my nails!!! Apparently the lifting of the nails because the product was not applied appropriately caused water to be trapped and a fungus to grow. I’ve been getting dip nails for at least 10 years and I have never had a fungus! When they remove the polish, they also found that he didn’t properly remove the red nail polish, that was the original color. Again, not allowing the product to appropriately bond to my nails. In addition to this awful fungus that I now have to deal with my shellac pedicure, has started to peel off my toes! I’m new to the area and was trying to find a nail salon and normally do not post reviews, but I would never want this to happen to anyone else! Beverly nail salon is unprofessional and obviously doesn’t understand the service applications that they are attempting to apply!
