I have been seeing Trina as my hair stylist since September of last year and the entire journey has been incredible.
Firstly I feel heard as the client (and always walk out with results that exceed my expectations) but also get the most sage, nurturing advice from Trina when it comes to perseverance of my hair health.
Second the blend, cut, and dimension in my hair is consistent and truly high quality.
Third (as if it couldn’t get any better) the prices are completely reasonable - especially for the results and dedicated time spent with her clients.
I wouldn’t have anyone else touch my hair.
Aumara Inc. & Aumara Financial: Hi I recently went to Mane salon this week. I had been there to get a haircut in January and decided to come back for color. I have been doing my own color from Home as a novice colorist for decades. Now I have been pre-growing since my 20s so I have to do my color once a month. When I came in today it was my intent to do blonde and red high and low lights in my hair. I was wanting a biology that was my intent initially and when I got in there, it took about an hour to deliberate over what they were gonna do with my color because they were concerned about The base color, pulling and turning into highlights or something lighter than what it was When I got home, I noticed that there was a big patch of gray in one area so I came back the next day and she went ahead and fixed that area for me. however, once I got home, I noticed that patch of gray was still there as you will see in my photo. Needless to say, I don’t believe that I will be coming back. I paid 140+ tip for this whole haircut and style and balayage and for the color is not to even fully color my hair it’s disappointing. I am now going to have to find time before I leave for my trip next week to take care of that patch. It’s a shame the owner is super nice there and I like the ambiance.
Alexa Moreno: Mary was great! She listened to what I wanted and delivered. She also gave me some great hair and beauty advice. I am very thankful for that and will definitely be a returning customer :)
Jarrod Bowers: Not my favorite experience getting a haircut. Im not usually one to go do a review but... I was accepted as a walk in. Chair was in a dark part of the building so it was hard to tell exactly if my haircut was even. It was an hour and half of silence while she tried to mimic the example I showed her. I had a lot of hair and just needed it to comb back easier and taper the sideburns/ears/neck. When she tried to call it done I had too point out that she cut the sideburns uneven(like one inch lower than the other), the taper was too far back/not blended, and the line up around the ears was rectangular. She corrected everything ok but didnt trim the collar. I had to get someone else to help me fix it at home. She didnt have a mirror to check the back and had too borrow one. I saw multiple people come and go in the time I was there and she just didnt seem like she cared to much to do a good job. I finally just settled for what it was, paid, and left.
