Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery Plano - Plano Zach Washam: Yesterday, my wife had surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon. She had never had surgery before and was nervous. Our flawless experience at this center made a difficult day much better than it could have been. The staff was excellent (Marsha did a great job of welcoming us; Sarah took good care of us after the surgery was over). Processes were well-designed, transitions were smooth, communication was clear, and care was warm and sincere. We appreciated the prayer card in our take-home information packet. Overall, we received wonderful support in a time of need. Thank you all for your good work.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano Emergency Room - Plano Bette Rosenfield: My elderly husband and I were treated terribly on our recent visit. He had had a seizure the night before, which I didn’t witness, but he had a bad scrape on his head. He was really weak, could barely walk and wouldn’t eat. They wouldn’t believe me about the seizure because I didn’t see it, although he has a history of episodes. They admitted him for “head trauma” because of the superficial scrape. The triage nurse wrote a disparaging remark on our admissions paper. After that it was all downhill. He incidentally has to be catheterized every 6 hours and it was due when we got there. I had to beg for 4 hours hours we were there for them to do it. We were there 8 hours. One nurse got in my face and yelled at for not giving a believable reason for being there. They did rule out head injury.
