1 /5 D_Roi: The volunteers exhibit a greater kindness than the pastor. My own experiences with Pastor Golden are polluted by less than politeness and his condescending tone. Whereas the church members and staff just might be amazing, I cannot say the same for the pastor. I witnessed on Easter Sunday Golden suggest that a male parishioner was a "lady". This was based upon the mans very masculine yet pastel colored suit. I, too, encountered the bullying tactics of Pastor Golden. After hurrying to a midweek event after work, I was publicly called out by Golden for my late arrival. In consideration of a very challenging work day, I was disappointed to be met with such shaming by a man who could have provided a spiritual rescue. Not all individuals have "traditional" working hours. Matters not, as the Church should be the one place that welcomes individuals regardless of their arrival time. Whereas this just might be the church for some, it is definitely not the church for those not seeking a self-indulgent, rude leader.
