5 /5 Soney: Very nice park with lots of trails to walk on. There’s 2 good sized playgrounds for kids, with a lot of climbing options. Lots of seating areas too, with plenty of shade. There is a restroom facility as well just in case you need to relieve yourself. This one has become one of my favorites just to go walk around for a while.

Meadow Lake Park - Round Rock

Michelle Jones: A nice park with easily accessible walking trails overlooking the lake. Paths were concrete allowing for all mobility levels. Benches were available along the trail and positioned in both shade and full sunlight. The park had large open green fields and a playground.

Mesa Village Park - Round Rock

Brandon Emmons: An adventurous playground with lots of shade! This park has lots of trees for natural shade as well as canopies above the play equipment. There are 4 play structures. 1st is a jungle gym merry go round! Then there a large climbing "ufo" with a slide. Lots and lots of different obstacles to explore and let the imagination come to life. Lastly there is a small toddler structure with ada stairs and a small slide. There is also a disc swing that one or two small children can ride. If your are looking to picnic, the park has 5 picnic tables that are ADA friendly along with a pavilion.

Lights of Walsh Ranch - Round Rock

Lou Sigety: Outstanding Xmas+ light show on just one house timed perfectly to user-selectable music via a provided website of many tunes covering several genres. The music queue is 8 entries long with each tune approximately 2.5 minutes. A definite must see if you are in the neighborhood.

Joanne Land Playground - Round Rock

Taylor Paul: We had a great time visiting the Joanne Land Playground for the first time today! There are a few shaded spots but it was still really hot on a summer day in July at 9 am. The playground is really unique and different than other playgrounds in the Austin area. Both my girls enjoyed the climbing obstacle course! The swing Zipline is a fun idea but really hard to pull up to the starting spot. My kids definitely couldnt do it on their own and even I had a hard time pulling it back. One of the slides was also blocked off and out of commission. There are walking trails around the playground and its always nice to be along the water!

Anne Ostermeier Tulloch: Very nice restrooms and plenty of picnic tables for sitting on and playing games or having picnics. You can also reserve the Pavillion for gatherings. Lovely trees and paved walking trails. Also a big play area for the smaller children. Plenty of parking and open fields to fly kites or play casual sports.

Historic Downtown Winnsboro TX - Winnsboro

Darryl Parham: A quant little downtown, with many places to eat, and a couple of interesting Antique Stores, all within a few blocks. There was also a Railroad Museum, but it was no open when we were there.
