5 /5 Paulicia Grimes: Not sure which lady braided my hair but she was in the station next to the window (but not by the front door). I got the small knotless braids. She was quick, painless and you cant beat the price!!!

5 /5 karen alexander: My first visit today (7/5) started with a little bit of confusion with the timing of opening today. However, the wait was well worth it. My experience today turned out Awesome. I actually came too early for the schedule opening time today. I called the owner to let her know that I was outside of the shop waiting. She promptly responded to let me know someone would be coming soon. Once in there was no lag time, Makura did an OUTSTANDING job on my braids. I am originally from NYC so I know good braiding. I am very tender headed and protective of my edges and there was no pulling, tugging or tension at all. She was quick neat and very pleasant. Actually, from what I saw all of the ladies in here are great braiders and friendly. But, I can personally say I had a wonderful experience and this will not be my last visit!

1 /5 KoKo Puffs: I was sitting in that salon for NINE AND A HALF HOURS. I understand that its back to school time and people are rushing to get themselves primmed and proper for the first day of school, but I was sitting in that salon waiting and getting my hair braided for 9 and a half hours. I first sat in the waiting area for 4 hours (from 1 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.) then was seated by the owner of the shop. I sat waiting for another 10 minutes waiting for her to get settled then showed a photo of what style I wanted. She did not do said style. Matter of fact, she LEFT work and went home not even halfway through my braiding process, yet asked for the money and I reluctantly agreed. Thank goodness another stylist picked up on my hairstyle. Though she did not do the exact style I requested with the previous stylist. Im severely disappointed. And for the price of $190?? Outrageous.
